Emma Wallace

Office Manager

Emma graduated with honours from the University of Guelph in 2010, holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Biology.

After graduation, Emma embarked on a journey of exploration and self-discovery through travel and upon return, landed her first job in the veterinary field. She worked in a surgery department at a large veterinary emergency and referral hospital. Captivated by the excitement and fast-paced nature of the surgical environment, Emma dedicated herself to making a difference in the lives of animals.

Her career path took a brief detour into the realm of pet insurance, where she gained valuable insights into the insurance side of veterinary care. However, Emma’s heart belonged to surgery, and she returned to the field, dedicating over a decade to another veterinary emergency and referral hospital. During this time, she honed her skills, became a respected member of the surgical team, and thrived in the challenging yet rewarding atmosphere.

Feeling the need for a new challenge, Emma made a bold career move and accepted the position of Office Manager at Lakeshore Animal Health Partners. This transition showcases her adaptability and leadership qualities, as she now oversees the administrative aspects of a prominent veterinary institution.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Emma finds joy and relaxation in the great outdoors. An avid sailor, she can be found racing sailboats on the vast waters of Lake Ontario, embracing the thrill of competition and the serenity of the open water. Additionally, Emma is no stranger to the ice, displaying her athleticism on the hockey rink.

Adding a touch of charm to her everyday life is her loyal office assistant, Doug the dog. Together, they navigate the challenges of work and play, embodying the special bond between humans and their furry companions.

Emma’s journey reflects a harmonious blend of academic achievement, professional dedication, and a zest for life’s adventures. Her story continues to unfold, promising more chapters of success and fulfillment in the ever-evolving world of veterinary care.
