Dr. Gabriella Allegrini

Location: Lakeshore Animal Health Partners in Mississauga, ON

Dr. Gabriella Allegrini completed her Bachelor of Science at the University of Guelph before earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC). Following graduation, she pursued a small animal rotating internship at VCA 404 Veterinary Emergency and Referral Hospital, a specialty oncology internship at OVC, and subsequently a medical oncology residency at OVC in conjunction with her Doctor of Veterinary Science (DVSc) degree. Her research focused on targeted therapies in canine melanoma.

She is passionate about advancing veterinary cancer treatment and ensuring the best possible quality of life for her patients. Dr. Allegrini especially values the strong bonds she develops with her patients and their families through ongoing cancer care and follow-up visits. Outside of the clinic, she shares her home with two senior cats, Gilbert and Henry, and enjoys traveling, hiking, cooking, and reading.
