Dr. Kovacevic graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2022 and began his career in primary care, where he developed a keen interest for complex medical cases. This experience led him to pursue a small animal rotating internship, where he further developed his clinical skills and commitment to providing a high standard of care. During his internship, he developed a strong interest in emergency medicine and critical care, and he continues to appreciate his role in supporting pets and their families during times of need.
His clinical interests include immune-mediated disease, gastrointestinal disease, and the management of complex metabolic derangements. He is committed to providing kind, compassionate, and evidence-based care to all of his patients.
Outside of work, Dr. Kovacevic enjoys spending time with his German Shepherd, Stevie, staying active through golf, basketball, and volleyball, and catching up with friends.
