Dr. Westgarth finds great satisfaction in the collaborative team approach at the hospital, where a collective effort is made to provide optimal care for all patients. Building strong connections with patients and their families is a source of genuine fulfillment.

At home, Dr. Westgarth shares her life with two tabby kitties, Casper and Franklin, both lovingly adopted from the humane society, and her three spirited kids.

During her university years, Dr. Westgarth actively participated in varsity rugby and wrestling, an experience that led her to meet her husband while playing on mutual rugby teams. Beyond her professional and athletic pursuits, Dr. Westgarth enjoys moments of savoring delicious food, strumming her guitar, and engaging in family time. Notably, she hiked Mt. Kilimanjaro during one of her adventurous journeys.
