Dr. Dickinson’s areas of interest include urology/nephrology, hematology, and immunology. More specifically, she is interested in the use of extracorporeal therapies to treat hematologic and immune-mediated disease and completed the UC Davis Hemodialysis Academy in 2020, an 18-month course which provides advanced training in extracorporeal therapies. She is also passionate about the use of minimally invasive urologic procedures and hopes to contribute to the expansion of this field in veterinary medicine. Her current research focuses on canine platelet function and platelet function testing in health and disease and resistance to antiplatelet therapy in canine patients.

She currently shares her home with two cats, Pumpkin and Oliver, the cutest troublemakers, and her dog Morty who is passionate about eating, cuddling and sleeping.
