Dr. Emily Smith

Dr. Smith is excited to join the team as an emergency veterinarian at AHP Lakeshore. She completed her doctor of veterinary medicine degree in 2020 at the Ontario Veterinary College, followed by completion of a small animal rotating internship at the Veterinary Emergency Clinic in Toronto in 2021. She has since been working exclusively in emergency medicine, and has always had a passion for the ER. She has a special interest in gastrointestinal emergencies, trauma and pain management. She has a Labrador Retriever named Junie and a Manx cat named Violet, whom she is obsessed with. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, video gaming and relaxing at the cottage.
