Neurology

Neurology Department at Toronto Animal Health Partners in North York

Our pets suffer from many of the same diseases we do, including those affecting the spinal cord, brain, nerves and muscles. Diseases affecting these areas are managed by specialists called Veterinary Neurologists. Our neurologists work closely with other specialists in our hospital to provide the most up-to-date and collaborative care available for our cat & dog patients.

Toronto Animal Health Partners houses a high-field 3T MRI, improving detail and clarity that matches what is available in humans, while also reducing the total anesthetic time required for such procedures. We also have image-guided surgery available to access lesions in otherwise inaccessible portions of the brain, in as minimally-invasive way as possible.
