Oonagh Hynes

Location: Toronto Animal Health Partners in North York, ON

I was born and raised in rural Ireland. And started my veterinary career at University College Dublin. Post graduation I worked in equine general practice, then completed an equine surgical internship in the US. After which I switch to small animal practice initially working in Ireland then moving to British Columbia, where I have worked as an ER Vet for past two years. I have set my sites on pursuing a career in small animal surgery, starting with the surgical intern position at TAHP.

Outside of work I play rugby and compete in CrossFit. I love spending time outside skiing, surfing or hiking with my dog Fiadh. The Irish language (gaeilge) is passion of mine and I love any excuse to use ‘cúpla focal’. (A few words).
